I have been working in St. Andrew’s Nursing Home for more than 5 years. I started out an an Enrolled Nurse and was given opportunities to further my career in Nursing. With guidance and support, I am now a Staff Nurse and there’s more ahead planned for me to achieve my career goals. While the culture here is diverse, it provides an environment where I can learn a lot from different people of different backgrounds and experiences.

I am blessed to be working with St Andrew's Nursing Home. I've started with no knowledge and experience in medical but with good working colleagues, medical experts and caring team, I can now practice some medical care to my old folks at home. Earning is not my only priority now; I want to give too.

I used to tell my friends that I would join the Intermediate and Long-Term Care sector in my later years as this is a ‘sunset’ industry. However, through a project which introduced me to nursing homes, I was inspired to look for opportunities to join the sector despite not having nursing home experience and being hearing impaired. What keeps me going and focused are the supportive Christian environment and the countless testimonies from our residents experiencing good care and love shown to them.
